BORUT Uganda was born from the dedication of teachers in our community who saw many children dropping out of school. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive environment. Unfortunately, various obstacles force children to leave school prematurely, and we’re here to change that narrative!
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to reduce school dropouts and ensure that every child can complete their education. But we can’t do it alone! The challenge before us is clear and pressing. With over 15 orphans knocking at our door, seeking educational assistance at the primary level, and 8 girls looking to reclaim their future through vocational training after early pregnancies, we find ourselves at a crossroads. Our current incomes simply cannot stretch far enough to support these growing numbers.
Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and thrive, but without immediate action, we risk leaving these bright futures behind. The orphans crave a place in classrooms, where they can be nurtured and educated, while the young mothers seek skills that will empower them and help lift their families out of poverty.
